Dear Cadet Nation Families –

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!  Our scholars, families, and staff ended the previous school year with a bang!  Our school is rated a “B” grade school by the Florida Department of Education.  While this is an amazing accomplishment, we are most proud of the work and dedication that it took to get us here.  We worked collaboratively with each other and our Cadet Nation families to help our students reach their best potential!  This school year, we will continue our theme of “Marching to the Beat of Success”.  We will do this by understanding that each of us is a vital piece of the Rolling Hills puzzle.  We continue to set high expectations for our scholars and we are counting on you to partner with us in reinforcing that message.

While we await the unveiling of our new school building for the 2020-2021 school year, we have made our temporary location into an inviting place of learning for our scholars.  While we are here, we encourage you to join us for various family-focused activities and programs. We welcome you to take an active role in your scholar’s educational journey by joining our PTO, becoming an ADDitions volunteer, contributing your ideas at our monthly SAC meetings, and maintaining consistent communication with teachers and staff.  Additionally, we encourage our scholars to wear a prescribed school uniform daily.

We are doing great things here at Rolling Hills!  Our teachers, staff, and scholars are shining stars and work every day to continue to be the pride of Pine Hills.  We document this regularly on the Twitter and on Facebook.  Be sure to follow us @CadetNation on the Twitter and like us at Rolling Hills Elementary OCPS on Facebook.

We are going to have an amazing school year, on purpose!

Mrs. Farah L. Henderson
